なぜ本を読むのか。
同意を得たいとき、何か疑問を解消したいとき、あとは。。。
よくわからない。
でも読む。最近は、お風呂本はあまりなく（お風呂の窓際に積んでいた本はあらかたかびてしまったため）、電車の行き帰りでキンドル本をチラチラ読み。
そこで登場するのが夏目漱石。キンドルのアカウントはアメリカアマゾンに紐付いているため、日本語で読める範囲は狭い。それに夏目漱石は読んでいて飽きない。
古井由吉がアメリカアマゾンでキンドル本になるのはあまり期待できないから次善の策という言い方もある。栖が読めたらと思うが、だったら本棚から本を取り出して読む。
門は、主人公の内面世界に共感できるところが多く、好き。間違いなく主人公よりはおっさんになってしまった自分ではあるが、普段へのやるせなさや、世間への関心のなさ、いざというときの小市民的逃走が、そうだよなと思ってしまう。
自分の背中は自分で押すしかない。
その力を与えてくれるような気がする。
大リストラを乗り切ったらしい主人公の最後に心ひそかに拍手を送るのは、自分自身がそういう目にあいたくないから。
夏目漱石が好きなのは、内省的態度が自分にとって好ましく映るから。
INFPだし。
なんだかとりとめがなくなってきているうちに20時になりそうなので、真田丸観るか。
MacBook Air（mid2011）でクラムシェルモード。今さらながら始めました。
大晦日にキーボードにウィスキーを飲ませてしまい、キーボードの１／５くらいが、入力できないもしくはよけいな文字が入るといった困ったことになっておりました。
年明けにキーボード修理でもと情報収集すると、キーボード交換だけなのか、ロジックボード交換まで行くのか、切り分けもできず。。。
仕方ないので外付けキーボードをつけてMacBook Airの画面を眺めていたのですが、そういえばと「クラムシェルモード」があることを思い出し、やってみました。
キーボードはデスクトップ型Windowsの余り物を流用。＠は、シフト＋２だったり、（）の位置が違ったり、微妙な問題はありますがこの際は問題なし。
美しいアルミ輝く純正のキーボードもあったのですが、１年ぶりくらいに箱から出したら電池が盛大に液漏れしていて使えませんでした。。
※使わない時は電池は抜きましょう
マウスもデスクトップ型Windowsでの余り物を流用。別にボタンが二つあろうが関係ない。
では外のモニターにどうやってつなぐか。
MacBook Airをおいてある部屋にはBDレコーダに繋いである23インチのHDMIモニターがあるので、それを使おう。BDレコーダとは切り替えスイッチで対応する。WindowsノートPCにつなぐときに使っていたバッファロー製の切り替えスイッチが久しぶりに登場。
問題は、MacBook Airとモニターというか切り替えスイッチとをつなぐケーブルはどうするか。
少し調べてみたらMacLab製で、ThunderboltからHDMIへ変換してくれるケーブルがある。1000円未満で相性保証付きだから行ってみました（於アマゾン）。
ケーブルが届いたので早速各種接続。普通にMacBook Airの電源を入れてログインしたら、後はHDMIモニターに画面も音も出てきました。あっけない。
しばらくはこれで対処。ガチでノートPC使うときはWindowsノートで。
GW明けくらいにはApple認定の修理センタへ持って行きます（予定）。
4万少々かかるそうですが、キーボード以外も見てくれるので、今ひとつ安定しない電源の接続ポートもなんとかしてもらおう。
下はThunderboltからHDMIへの変換ケーブルのパッケージ。綺麗な写真じゃなくすみません。

少し早い2015年振り返り
書き出すとたくさんありますが、エイと一月2つだけにまとめました。見てみると例年通りという感じで、一個人としては淡々と時は過ぎていきます。
今年記憶に残ったのは、2020のエンブレムに新国立競技場。安保法案。テロの問題、難民、貧困。あとはピケティさん。
日本だけでなく世の中全般が悪い方向に向かっているのでしょうか。貧富の格差が拡大し、異をとなえる抵抗としてのテロ、難民が増え、テロへの報復として爆撃をして。終わりがない報復合戦には勝者はないし正義もないでしょう。
強い者が生き残り、ルールを作って富をかき集める。相変わらずのわかりやすい構図が見えるように思います。
過去の歴史では、そこに異をとなえて戦争が起こり、民族紛争が起こりして、たくさんの人命が失われました。
ということは、普通に歴史を学んだ人は知っているでしょうが、いまの世情を見ると再び繰り返そうとしているように見えます。
持てる人、持たざる人、この二つがある限り、争いは絶えないのではないでしょうか。
